Privacy Policy

Last updated 13 July 2026

Exnami is a personal finance tracker that helps you record expenses, income, budgets, debts, accounts, and bills. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed Exnami so your financial data stays private to you.

Who we are

Exnami is operated by Datalkemi. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at contact@exnami.com.

Information we collect

We only collect what you provide to run the app:

  • Account details: your email address and password (passwords are stored securely hashed by our authentication provider; we never see them in plain text).
  • Financial data you enter: expenses, income, budgets, debts, bank/savings/credit-card accounts, transfers, bills, and any notes or documents you upload.
  • Profile information: optional details such as your name and preferences (base currency, tax country).
  • Technical data: basic, privacy-preserving usage and performance metrics to keep the service reliable.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

How we use your data

  • To provide the core features: recording and displaying your finances, budgets, and reminders.
  • To calculate summaries such as balances, spendable totals, tax estimates, and currency conversions.
  • To keep the service secure, reliable, and functioning correctly.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Google Calendar integration

If you choose to connect your Google account, Exnami requests access to your Google Calendar solely to create and update the payment reminders you ask it to add. We only write the reminder events you request; we do not read, share, or store the rest of your calendar. Your Google authorization tokens are stored securely and are used only for this purpose.

You can disconnect at any time from your account settings or by revoking access in your Google Account permissions, which stops all further calendar access.

Exnami's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase for the database, authentication, and file storage; Vercel for hosting). Access is protected by row-level security so each user can only read and write their own records. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with the infrastructure providers named above, strictly as needed to operate the service, and where required by law.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your data from our systems. You can also delete individual records within the app.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can do most of this directly in the app; for anything else, contact us at contact@exnami.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
